Blue Willow Necklace

The timeless Blue Willow china pattern has been handcrafted into a a large statement necklace in my Nova Scotia studio.

Featuring one of the elements of the story illustrated on Blue Willow china (see the "About" section below) this lovely broken china necklace features the boat that the lovers used for their escape. This necklaces symbolizes never-ending love and triumph over adversity!

DETAILS

The broken china has been cut and thinned by hand and is securely set into a durable and non-tarnishing stainless steel bezel. A protective coating completes the piece, ensuring longevity and a polished finish.

Your necklace will arrive, ready for gift giving in a handy vegan suede pouch along with a polishing cloth.

ABOUT BLUE WILLOW

The story behind Blue Willow china has been interpreted and adapted over the years. Featuring a landscape with a bridge, fence, pagoda, willow tree, and two doves, the story revolves around a tragic love affair between a wealthy girl and her father's clerk. Forbidden to marry, they elope but are caught. In some versions, they transform into doves to escape the wrath of the girl's father.
